A-drift in Paris
An interactive objet walking us through the streets of Paris.
This touch-sensitive map offers more than 70 soundscapes of the city. Inspired by the "dérives" of Guy Debord, which he describes as "a mode of experimental behavior linked to the conditions of urban society: a technique of rapid passage through varied ambiances", I took with my microphone an unplanned journey through the landscape, letting myself be drawn by the attractions of the terrain and the encounters I found.
The map below gives you a sample of the sounds available in a selection of "arrondissements" of the North-East part of Paris.
